Having noticed some amazing new nail art twists sweeping my twitter feed I just couldn't wait to get my hands on my very own Ciaté Caviar Manicure to try...

..So I hot footed it onto one of my favourite online shops www.selfridges.co.uk to place my order and what an altogether perfect experience that was from start to finish.

Selfridges get things so right and I thank Mr Harry Gordon Selfridge (lady's man that he was) for founding this amazing, beautiful store with such spot on service.

I placed my order and within 24 hours it was beautifully packaged at my front door - that evening the fun began.

Ciaté Caviar Manicure is the first three dimensional nail art of it's kind and oozes sophistication with a touch of glamour as the caviar pearls casually catch the light.

The application process is surprisingly easy considering the elaborate finished result, I applied my trusty Orly base coat then one coat of the Ciaté nail polish, leave to dry while getting the kit ready, then apply a second coat and pour on the caviar pearls and gently press down to ensure they are firmly fixed. Leave to dry for 15-20 minutes then get your glad rags on an hit the town to show off those grown up disco nails :0)

Here's Charlotte Knight, creative director of Ciaté with a fantastic tutorial

And here are my home made results

Not bad for my first go and a much longer process that I usually opt for but for those special occasions this is perfectly described as 'understated feminine, indulgent yet delicately extravagant'.
